Acne Scars

Acne scars are the result of inflammation and tissue damage caused by acne lesions. When the skin’s pores become clogged with excess oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria, it can lead to different forms of acne, such as blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pustules, and nodules. When severe acne lesions, especially those like nodules or cysts, damage the deeper layers of the skin, the body’s healing process can result in the formation of scars.
